“Could not have asked for better!”

I was expecting a decent stay but as soon as I walked into my room, I was amazed! Looks brand new, very clean. The staff even brought suitcases up for me. There are many restaurants nearby, grocery store, liquor store, all within a 2 minute walk. Of course there is noise from the street but that does not bother me. I am extending my stay too, I don’t think that I will find better, especially for the price. Free Internet and parking too.

“New & Modern!”

Stayed here for 3 nights with my mum and girlfriend whilst on holiday in British Columbia. We weren’t sure what to expect when we booked our rooms due to mixed reviews, but upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised as our rooms were massive, the bathrooms were really modern and the beds were also really large. Not to mention the large 48″ TV mounted on the wall in me and my girlfriend’s room which also had cable. Not the best views or the best surrounding area but that is a small price to pay for such a lovely hotel. The staff were all very friendly and eager to please, and downtown Vancouver is only 20 minutes in the taxi or 5 minutes on the SkyTrain which you can catch only a few blocks down the road. Perfect for what we needed. The only downside to this hotel is that it is hard to find due to no sign on the exterior of the building, however the receptionist said they would be getting one soon. Highly recommend!

“Very pleased after reading old reviews…”

This motel has been recently refurbished and we couldn’t fault it. The rooms were very clean, big with new beds, nice furniture, large well equipped bathrooms and everything you would need for an overnight stay. Staff couldn’t have done enough and were very attentive and friendly. We actually booked our last 3 nights here in Vancouver before heading back to the UK and were very pleased with the location as we frequented down town Vancouver several times ( 20 mins easy access straight through to city centre) We looked at quite a few hotels etc and this place is definitely unbelievable for money for Vancouver. The Hotel ( which it is, we wouldn’t class it as a Motel) is in a very Chinese suburb so there are ample eating places, Safeway across the road and Subway and many more shops. We also liked how they had their own private basement parking which was free, unlike most other hotels we’d booked into on our 2 week road trip round BC. No hesitation at all in recommending the Palms Motel.
